Adrian Burgess
Chief Technology OfficerAdrian is a recognised construction industry expert with more than 30 years of experience. The Chief Technology Officer CTO) of the Cohesive Group, he has a focus on digital twins and the optimisation and smarter use of information and data across the asset lifecycle.
Currently leading the data and technology services team at Cohesive, Adrian works with asset owners to develop and deliver digital twin led digital transformation programmes.
Adrian has a strong practical foundation in construction and engineering, having worked for UK based main contractors early in his career.
He provided advice and expertise toward the UK Government’s adoption of the mandated Level 2 BIM Strategy, enabling the efficient and effective use of digital information management across government-built asset. This was the forerunner to the ISO 19650 suite of BIM and information standards.
Adrian’s recent achievements include the development of Cohesive DataConnect+ – a master data management application that works with the Bentley iTwin platform and enables the integration and visualisation of virtual assets by drawing on a wide range of complex data sources.
