Cohesive Secures DNV and Lloyds Accreditation for Maximo Application Suite

Cohesive and IBM have together secured the certification from the world’s leading marine classification societies.

Offshore and maritime users of the Maximo Application Suite (MAS) now have the confidence of full DNV and Lloyds accreditation, thanks to a joint certification program delivered by Cohesive and IBM.

The milestone confirms that MAS meets the demanding technical and safety standards set by the world’s leading classification bodies – a significant step forward for asset-intensive organizations operating in heavily regulated environments.

The world’s leading marine classification societies, DNV and Lloyds set internationally recognized technical standards for ships and offshore structures and verify that vessels comply with stringent safety and environmental rules.

Any organization around the world that is certified by DNV or Lloyds and uses Maximo in an offshore or maritime capacity, will benefit from the newly obtained classification approval.

Maximo version 7.x was officially maritime approved as a Planned Maintenance System for maritime and offshore vessels in 2021. But until now, the application suite had not held the certification.
