October marks a milestone for the Maximo community – the inaugural Maximo Live. Taking place over two days in Sydney, it will be the first user group of its kind specifically designed for the Australasian region. It is expected to draw hundreds of professionals from across the Maximo ecosystem.
Cohesive’s Colin Ellam will be giving a keynote presentation about AI. He’ll be discussing how those managing and maintaining our complex infrastructure can seize the AI advantage and use this technology to underpin reliable, resilient and high-performing assets.
We’ll also be hosting two ‘round table’ sessions with our clients, Auckland One Rail (AOR) and Cirebon Energi Prasarana (a major player in Indonesia’s power sector), and leading technical sessions designed to help front-line Maximo users gain a deeper understanding into the platform’s capabilities.
Our round table with AOR will be led by Ankita Kedlaya, the organization’s Asset Systems Lead. She will share her experience and learning from AOR’s implementation of Maximo for rolling stock assets and explain how Maximo is helping AOR to meet its mission to provide a safe, reliable and efficient service.
Andy Saputra, ICT Manager at Cirebon Power, will lead our second round table. It will focus specifically on implementing ‘permit to work’ using native Maximo functionality.
User groups: Maximising your Maximo investment
Maximo user groups are a vital channel between IBM and Maximo users around the globe – enabling education, information exchange and an opportunity to gain more value from your investment.
They are also key for influencing the path of Maximo and its future success. Underlining their importance, several key IBM leaders will be attending the event, both presenting and capturing feedback from its frontline users. These will include Kendra DeKeyrel, IBM’s VP Asset Lifecycle Management and Nicholas Flood, MD IBM Australia and New Zealand.
