Consolidated Edison (ConEd) of New York was one of the first utilities globally to upgrade to Maximo Application Suite (MAS). They had been a Maximo customer for decades, with numerous integrations, custom workflows, and dependencies they didn’t want to disrupt. The upgrade process required careful planning and coordination to align with their requirements and ensure adoption by the field team.
In this webinar, you’ll hear from Bob Fyke, Asset Management Engineering Manager and leader of the MAS upgrade initiative, and key members of Cohesive’s services team, to learn how they navigated the challenges. What you learn will help you with your own strategy to transition to MAS.
Planning and project management ensured consistency and timeliness
The team needed to consider several parallel projects within ConEd that had dependencies on Maximo. Cohesive helped ConEd plan their MAS roadmap and timing to determine which projects needed to be completed before others, so they could avoid rework and ensure no dependencies were broken. Thinking ahead also allowed the team to determine how many environments they needed, which also drove their AppPoints licensing decisions.
